TORONTO, Sept. 23 /CNW/ - More than 90,000 students, parents and
educators are expected to attend the Ontario Universities' Fair (OUF) from
September 26 to 28, 2008, at the South Building of the Metro Toronto
Convention Centre to learn more about the programs and campus life at the 21
institutions in the province.
The largest event of its kind in Canada, the fair is free to senior
secondary school students, their teachers, family and friends, and provides a
great opportunity to learn about program requirements and how to apply for
university, as well as get a sense of the different student experiences that
can be expected at Ontario's universities. Representatives from all of the
province's universities are on site to answer questions.
Members of the media are welcome to attend and are invited to enter the
OUF through the staff and media entrances, located at the Bremner Street
entrance to the South Building of the Convention Centre and on the bridge
joining the North and South Buildings.
The Ontario Universities' Fair is organized by a committee of the Ontario
University Registrars' Association (OURA). This committee includes
representatives from Ontario's universities, the Council of Ontario
Universities (COU) and the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC).
