The 11th FIMA: an event not to be missed!
MONTREAL, June 28 /CNW Telbec/ - For its 11th edition, FIMA is expanding to 11 days! Close to 300 artists from different countries will take the street from July 1st to the 11th to exhibit their work on the BoulevArt (Sainte-Catherine Street East, between Saint-Hubert and Papineau). The exhibition is split in three: July 1st to the 4th, July 5, 6 and 7 dedicated to emerging artist and July 8th to the 11th. The public is invited to paint live with legendary artist Armand Vaillancourt, see movies in the outdoor and experience contemporary art. VJs and Djs for the SAT(mixsessions) will create atmospheres in the lounge while the project Contained Noise will test your senses in a container. Other features include FIMA's first auction hosted by François Gourd and 100% Swiss, the international exhibition at the Écomusée du fier monde showcasing seven young Swiss artists.
