TeraGo Networks Reaches Market Expansion Milestone

Leading wireless broadband service provider to businesses expands its
    coverage to 40 Canadian markets

TORONTO, Jan. 16 /CNW/ - TeraGo Networks Inc., a leading national
wireless broadband service provider today announced a market expansion
milestone reaching 40 major markets in Canada as a result of its successful,
post-IPO growth strategy. TeraGo's recent expansion into the local economies
of Surrey and Burnaby, B.C., Aurora, Ont. and Laval East and Longueuil, Que.,
enables the company's national IP network to serve more businesses in growing
markets.
A key focus for TeraGo is to help organizations in Canada extend their
communications' reach through cost-effective and innovative wireless internet
and data connectivity services. Through these latest market expansions, a
greater number of businesses are able to leverage TeraGo's distinct service
alternative, enabling the service provider to deliver solutions that meet
customers' unique data requirements. In addition to new locations in Quebec,
TeraGo has upgraded its existing network in Montreal. The service provider has
added additional capacity to meet the growing customer demand in the Montreal
area.
"This is a very exciting milestone in TeraGo's mission to bring premier
broadband services to businesses in Canada," says Bryan Boyd, President and
CEO, TeraGo Networks. "Growing from the 31 markets we served prior to the
successful launch of our IPO in June 2007, we have now expanded into
40 Canadian markets where we deliver robust, tailor-made communications
solutions for businesses in all industries. We will continue to expand into
areas in need of high-performance broadband technology and build our customer
concentration in existing markets."
TeraGo's private, wireless IP network backbone, which is independent from
cable and telephone company networks, allows TeraGo to go where others can't
to reach business customers in growing geographic markets. "From manufacturing
and high tech, to health and education, Surrey, Burnaby, Aurora, Laval East
and Longueuil are all thriving economies with great opportunities for growth
in the commercial and industrial space," adds Boyd. "TeraGo's continued
expansion into strategic markets enables us to rapidly deliver broadband
solutions that contribute to the success of businesses in and around major
urban centres."
Supporting a variety of applications, including IP monitoring, video
conferencing, inventory management and e-commerce applications, TeraGo's
national IP network also offers industry-leading service level agreements, a
24/7 Technical Support Centre and field service support to its customers.
