Toronto on February 27, 2008.
"Tembec is very proud to receive the Most Environmentally Progressive

sustainable forest management practices."
In 2001, Tembec was the first large-scale forestry company in Canada to

with FSC's forest management standards. To date, Tembec has certified over 90%
of the forest under its management.
"As a supplier to the print industry, Tembec is committed to helping
customers find solutions to environmental responsibility by providing products
such as the Kallima(R) Coated Cover line of paperboard that reduce
environmental impact while meeting business needs," said Renée Yardley, Vice
President of Sales and Marketing for Tembec's Paperboard Operations.
"Kallima(R) Coated Cover was the first coated cover in the industry to be FSC
certified thus guaranteeing customers that the paperboard they use comes from
a well managed forest."
