Karen Radford named president, TELUS Business Solutions
MONTREAL, June 9 /CNW/ - TELUS is announcing the appointment of François
Côté, to the position of executive vice-president and president of both TELUS
Québec and TELUS Health Solutions, and the appointment of Karen Radford, to
the position of president, TELUS Business Solutions.
Based in Montreal, François will apply his proven leadership skills to
further expand the company's strong presence in Quebec while advancing TELUS'
national health care strategy through investment in innovative information,
communications and technology applications.

François' 28 year career has given him first-hand business experience and
deep insight into the health sector and the dynamic telecommunications
industry. Formerly president and Chief Executive Officer of Emergis, a
publicly traded company, François was named president of TELUS Health
Solutions following the company's acquisition in January, 2008.

Karen joined TELUS in 1998, and most recently served as executive
vice-president and president, TELUS Québec. In this role, she was responsible
for growing the company's consumer and business customer market share in

Alberta. To help celebrate four wonderful years in Quebec, Karen together with
Francois, will co-host the 2009 TELUS World Skins Game at La Tempête Golf Club
in Lévis on June 22 and 23, in support of Opération Enfant Soleil.
