team members will roll up their sleeves to make a difference in dozens of
communities across Canada as part of the annual TELUS Day of Service.
More than 6,000 TELUS team members, including employees, alumni, family
and friends, will participate in hundreds of volunteer activities. Team
members across the country will use their time and talents tomorrow to give
where they live.
"TELUS Day of Service lets us reach out as one team across the country
and make a positive and remarkable difference in the communities where we live
and work," said Janet Yale, TELUS executive vice president, Corporate Affairs.
"By fusing our collective energies on one special day, we are able to
contribute our time, expertise and resources to helping build sustainable
communities in partnership with local leaders and non-profit organizations.
The pooled result will have a real and lasting impact, creating positive
change in our lives and in the lives of others."
