Taranis Resources Channel Sampling Returns 3.75 m of 7.80% Zn, 7.86% Pb, 0.22% Cu, 2.25 g/t Au & 330.42 g/t Ag at Thor

LAKEWOOD, CO, Nov. 26 /CNW/ - Taranis Resources Inc. ("Taranis") (TSX.V:
TRO) is pleased to report further on its exploration activities on the Thor
Property, which continues to outline a large precious and base metal bearing
zone, found within the Combined Metals Unit ("CMU") that extends for over 1.4
km on the Thor Property.
Two zones previously sampled only by grab sampling (see News Release
dated October 29, 2007) were subsequently exposed with an excavator and were
channel sampled using a gas-powered diamond saw. These two zones include the
St. Elmo Mine area, and the Galena Pocket Zone located within the True Fissure
Zone ("TFZ"). Massive sulphide ("MS") and/or quartz-sulphide ("QS")
mineralization occurs within the Combined Metals Unit ("CMU"), a laterally
extensive horizon enriched in precious and base metals. A mineralized fault
zone frequently overlies the TFZ, and is referred to as fault gouge ("FG").

Galena Pocket Zone (Section 140m North)

The Galena Pocket Zone exposes a complete cross-section of the CMU within
the TFZ. The mineralized zone is 3.75 m wide true thickness in this area.

St. Elmo Mine (Section 350m North)

Taranis was also able to complete one channel sample across the north end
of the St. Elmo Mine area and outlined a zone 1.80 m in true thickness. This
area was not drilled in 2007 and is planned to be drill tested in 2008.

Analytical work was completed by the AccurAssay Laboratories in Thunder
Bay, Ontario that is accredited to Standards Council of Canada, Scope of
Accreditation 434 (Conforms with requirements of CAN-P-4D (ISO/IEC 17025), and
CAN-P-1579). The certification also complies with the Standards Council of
Canada (CAN-P-1579). Channel sampling is conducted by using an excavator to
expose bedrock, and using a diamond saw to cut samples marked on the bedrock
face with spray paint. Hand specimen descriptions are then completed for each
of the samples accurately documenting the mineralogy and other characteristics
of the samples. Whenever possible, the channel sampling is taken normal to the
strike of the rock formations, but in the case of the Galena Pocket Zone,
corrections have been applied to the measurements to calculate the true
thickness of the zone. Exploration activities on the Thor Property were
overseen by John Gardiner (P. Geol.) and Jim Helgeson (P. Geo.), each of whom
is a Qualified Person under the meaning of Canadian National Instrument
43-101.
