TORONTO, Sept. 26 /CNW/ - Global's SURVIVOR series continues to draw
legions of fans. More than 2.2 million viewers (2+), an increase of 11% from
Spring '08 Fans vs. Favourites season, tuned-in to watch the new cast begin
their battle of wits, strength and endurance in Gabon, truly the most arduous
of show locations to date. 50% of the audience, over 1 million viewers, were
in the network's key Adults 18-49 demographic.
Survivor: Gabon won its regular 8pm timeslot nationally and across the
major metered markets of Toronto and Vancouver for both the Ind 2+ and key

- Survivor: Gabon saw increase of almost 10% in the key markets of
Toronto and Vancouver in A18-49 demo as compared to Fans vs.
- Survivor garnered almost 4 times the audience of City TV's Ugly Betty
(national 2+) and more than 3 times in key demo of A18-49.
- Survivor doubled CTV's ER premiere in both the national 2+ and A18-49
