Supplementary Report of Ontario's Chief Energy Conservation Officer To Be Posted

TORONTO, June 2 /CNW/ - The supplementary report of Ontario's Chief
Energy Conservation Officer, Peter Love, will be posted to the Ontario Power
Authority (OPA) and Conservation Bureau websites on the afternoon of Tuesday,
June 3rd after 2:00 p.m.
The report, to be available as a PDF, will provide a summary of available
information on Ontario's electricity conservation progress to the end of 2007.
It will include results of the Ontario Power Authority's conservation
activities, as well as those of local distribution companies, governments and
others across the province. It is released at this time of the year, in
advance of the summer peak demand season, to provide transparency in reporting
the results of conservation activities that are funded by Ontario electricity
ratepayers and others, and to communicate these results in a timely manner.
To review the report, please visit either the OPA website at:
www.powerauthority.on.ca or the Conservation Bureau website at:
www.conservationbureau.on.ca.

The Chief Energy Conservation Officer is part of the Ontario Power
Authority (OPA), which was established to plan Ontario's new power system, to
acquire new sources of power, and to promote a "culture of conservation"
throughout the province.
