MONTREAL, Jan. 21 /CNW Telbec/ - Compagnie France Film is pleased to

technological front. Under this partnership, Tel-Spec will provide its

The world of ticketing has been radically transformed since the beginning
of the new century. A ticketing company can no longer simply distribute
tickets, a product that is in the process of dematerializing.
"First and foremost, a ticketing network must be a marketing partner,
assisting producers, concert and public-event promoters to reach their
potential customers as efficiently as possible," said Serge Grimaux, president
of Ticketpro Canada. "As such, ticketing companies must offer ticket buyers a
service that meets all of their needs. By merging their activities, Compagnie
France Film and Ticketpro have created a new company that is able to do so."
Théâtre Saint-Denis will join the other Montreal venues that have adopted
a new system for marketing cultural products, including Club Soda, the Medley,
the Metropolis, the Olympia and Outremont theatres, and three big events: the
Montreal International Jazz Festival, the FrancoFolies de Montréal and the
Montreal Highlights Festival.
Key employees from both companies will handle the new entity's
operations. Ticketpro will be located at the corner of St. Denis Street and de
Maisonneuve Boulevard, in the heart of the Latin quarter.
