TORONTO, March 27 /CNW/ - UNICCO(R) Service Company today announced that
Steve Malcolmson has joined the company as director, business development with
responsibilities for targeted accounts in Canada and the United States. Based
in the company's Toronto office, Malcolmson is also a member of the national
accounts team. He reports to national accounts team leader, Eric Miller, and
Randy Ledbetter, UNICCO vice president, business development.
Malcolmson is responsible for customer retention and development in
support of commercial, retail, institutional and industrial accounts across
Canada and in targeted markets in the U.S. He will also represent the company
at forums. He will lend his expertise to the national account team for both
Canadian and U.S. business development initiatives.

Malcolmson joins UNICCO from Hurley Corporation where he served in
several business development capacities culminating in the position of vice
president, sales & marketing. In that role he was responsible for customer
relationship management and also worked as a member of the senior management
team with his peers in operations, finance and administration.
Previously, he was president of Janitorial Development Inc. where he
oversaw the growth of the company from a small service provider to a
multimillion dollar operation.
Malcolmson holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics and sociology from
McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. He has been active in several
professional organizations, including the American Association of Airport
Executives (AAAE), the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA)
International, the Building Service Contractors Association International
(BSCAI), the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) and others.
He is also past president of the Hamilton branch of the Canadian Diabetes
Association and has been active in numerous service organizations. Malcolmson
lives in Burlington, Ontario.
