Standard Life sweeps six I.F.C.A. awards including 'Best of Show'



    MONTREAL, Aug. 6 /CNW Telbec/ - The Standard Life Assurance Company of
Canada won six awards in the 2009 Insurance and Financial Communicators
Association (I.F.C.A.) competition. The annual awards competition, which
includes entrants from across North America, recognizes excellence in
marketing and communications within the insurance and financial services
industry.
    Standard Life's VIP Room, a dashboard-style website that provides members
of group savings and retirement plans with easy access to dynamic, relevant
and customized information about their retirement investments, won a 'Best of
Show' award. The firm also received three 'Award of Excellence' designations
for its Health & Wellness Centre website, the Summary of Canadian Pension
Legislation booklet, and Standard Life Mutual Funds Quarterly Review
publication. Finally, Standard Life's Retirement Calculator direct mail
campaign and its on-demand rich media Focus on Funds microsite were recognized
with 'Honourable Mention'.
