TORONTO, June 1 /CNW/ - St. Michael's College School is pleased to
announce that it has entered into an agreement with the Felician Sisters of
St. Francis of Canada to lease the Holy Name of Mary school facility in
Mississauga. The new school will open in 15 months, in time for the 2008-09
school year.
This announcement will not affect the upcoming 2007-08 school year under
the school's current lease arrangements with the Dufferin-Peel Catholic
District School Board.
The new school, to be known as Holy Name of Mary College School, will be
re-opened as an independent, all-girls Catholic school offering grades 7
through 12. The School will be governed by a Board of Directors and operated
as a not-for-profit institution. The Felician Sisters will carry on their
spiritual presence at the school while St. Michael's College School will
