Summary Report Prepared on Drill Data/Assays 2007

VANCOUVER, Jan. 14 /CNW/ -(TSX.V: SEM) Rolly Trenaman, President
announced today that final assays have been received from 2007 diamond
drilling at the Company's Moyie zinc/silver lead property located
approximately 20 kms south of Cranbrook, BC.
A total of 17 diamond drill holes have been completed on the Society Girl
target, one of six targets identified on the St. Eugene property at Moyie, BC.
Assay results for the first 13 holes are posted on the Company's web site and
the remaining four holes of the programme, for which assays have been recently
received, are incorporated on drill hole section drawings recently added.
    R. T. Trenaman P. Eng., the internal Qualified Person, has prepared a
report synthesizing core data and assay results for all holes completed to
date. This report is designed primarily for use by Management to assist in
planning the direction of further activities to expand the potential of the
high grade zones defined.

    1. All of the drill cores (with the exception of one which failed to
reach target depth) intersected lead and zinc mineralization within the trend
of the Society Girl break. The sulfides are associated with mineralized
structures featuring fractured and brecciated Upper Aldridge formation strata.

    2. The mineralized structures occupy a volume with a strike length of 300
metres, a dip length of 200 metres and a thickness of 25 metres. This is
evidence for a strong mineralizing system.

    3. Within the mineralized structures, impressive values in lead, zinc and
silver have been encountered. These have been reported in previous news
releases; e.g.:

                                                     Silver True
Drill Hole Zinc % Lead % ounces/tonne Width
    ---------- ------ ------ ------------ -----
    SG 06-02 13.80 2.90 1.40 1.4
    SG 07-05 4.45 8.56 2.74 3.4
    SG 07-10 21.87 2.90 0.70 2.2
    SG 07-12 6.67 75.10 21.0 0.2
    SG 07-13 6.19 15.2 4.2 0.3

    4. In Management's judgment, the wide spread halo of lead and zinc
sulfides surrounding a core area containing substantially higher grade lead,
zinc and silver values is the mark of a mineralizing system capable of hosting
these metals in economic concentrations.

    5. Management considers that the Society Girl target warrants a programme
involving underground development to enhance the quality of the data obtained
from the diamond drilling.

In other news, the TSX Venture Exchange has accepted the non-brokered
