WINNIPEG, Oct. 10 /CNW/ - Winnipeg Airports Authority Inc. (WAA) is
pleased to introduce SSP Canada and The Paradies Shops as master operators of
concessions for the new air terminal under construction at Winnipeg James
Armstrong Richardson International Airport.
WAA's Request for Proposal (RFP) included stores and restaurants with 70%
of concessions post-security and 30% located pre-security, reflecting current
travel trends. Retail and food and beverage service covers approximately
1,747 square meters (18,868 square feet).
SSP Canada will operate and manage 11 food and beverage services with 9
located post-security and 2 pre-security. The Paradies Shops will operate and
manage 9 retail services, all post security.
