Songwriters' Circle to be broadcast LIVE on CBC Radio



    Music fans across Canada will be able to tune into the Juno weekend
    concert featuring some of Canada's finest songwriters

    SASKATOON, SK, March 19 /CNW/ - The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts
and Sciences (CARAS) along with CBC Radio announced today that for the second
year, Songwriters' Circle will be broadcast live-to-air across CBC Radio One
and CBC Radio Two channels on Sunday, April 1st during various time zones
across the country.
    CBC's familiar radio personality and network host of Sounds Like Canada,
Shelagh Rogers, will introduce the broadcast to listeners tuned in to hear
some of Canada's finest songwriters including Songwriters' Circle host Jim
Cuddy, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Colin James, Kellylee Evans, Ron Sexsmith, Susan
Aglukark and Tomi Swick. Songwriters' Circle will be held at Sid Buckwold
Theatre, TCU Place, in Saskatoon, SK, on Sunday April 1, 12 p.m. - 2 p.m.(CT).
