VANCOUVER, July 11 /CNW/ - Solex Resources Corp. (TSX-V: SOX) ("Solex" or
the "Company") announces today that the Peruvian Ministry of Energy and Mines
has granted the Company a drill permit for the Chuyo Chuya 4 anomaly on the
Company's 100% owned Macusani South property.
"Not only does the granting of this permit allow Solex to advance our
development plan but it is the first such permit issued by the Ministry which
specifically pertains to the drilling of uranium exploration targets
subsequent to changes in the regulations implemented earlier this year," said
Jonathan Challis, President and CEO of Solex Resources Corp. "With a drill
permit and community agreement in place, we expect to complete a drill
contract and begin drilling in early August of this year."
In addition, the Company confirms that SGS Minerals Metallurgical Group
has completed construction and testing of the Metallurgical mobile laboratory
test modules and that they will be shipped to site from Santiago during the
week of July 15th. The operation of the modules has been contracted to SGS
