with the Biblical prohibitions that prohibit homosexuality. The Times of
Harvey Milk, Wednesday June 24 at 10 pm, tells the tumultuous story of the
first openly gay person to be elected to public office in California. The
documentary won the Academy Award for best documentary feature in 1984 - and
inspired the 2008 fictional film Milk.
Friday June 19 at 10 pm, Allan Gregg in Conversation presents an in-depth
conversation with author John Ralston Saul (A Fair Country) on Canada's
aboriginal roots and their surprising influence on the country's evolution.
Dreams with Sharp Teeth, Sunday June 7 at 9 pm, presents a frank, funny and
fascinating portrait of the cantankerous - and prolific - sci-fi scribe Harlan
And Mondays and Fridays at 4:55 pm beginning Monday June 29, TVOKids
presents seven new episodes of the comic shorts The Royals all about summer
safety, including safety while boating, swimming and riding bicycles.
