So long and thanks for the cabinet seat

    Wynne shuns McGuinty

TORONTO, Sept. 30 /CNW/ - When Kathleen Wynne was appointed to cabinet
she couldn't have been happier. "It's an enormous honour to have been asked by
the Premier to take on this role," she told the Legislature on September 25,
2006.
So how does she say thank you? By erasing any trace of Dalton McGuinty
from her campaign literature.

Wynne is just the latest Dalton McGuinty cabinet minister who wants
nothing to do with the man including:

    - Greg Sorbara
    - Jim Watson
    - Michael Bryant

Try as she might, Kathleen Wynne won't be able to outrun Dalton
McGuinty's record of broken promises because they're as much hers as they are
Dalton McGuinty's:

    - She broke her promise not to raise taxes when she voted to introduce a
new tax of up to $900 per person.
    - She broke her promise to govern with honesty and integrity when she
voted to cover up the $32 million Citizenship and Immigration slush
fund that saw taxpayer dollars go to groups with Liberal Party
       connections
    - She broke her promise to cap hydro rates when she voted to increase
the cost of electricity in Ontario.

    Leadership Matters.
