it has agreed to purchase all shares of C.J. MacLellan & Associates in
Antigonish, Nova Scotia, a 35-year old engineering and surveying firm offering
a full range of multi-discipline design services.

C.J. MacLellan's 25 engineers and other professionals will join
SNC-Lavalin's Nova Scotia General Engineering Group, which has been based in
Halifax for over 45 years and now numbers over 100 employees.
