Canada (SEPAC) held its Annual General Meeting on Thursday November 29, 2007
and is pleased to announce the results of elections to its 20 member Board of
Three new Board members were elected: Mr. Aidan Walsh, President and CEO
of Burmis Energy Inc, Mr. Doug Kay, President and CEO of Intrepid Energy Corp.
and Mr. Ben Van Sant, President of Whitehall Energy Ltd.
Returning Board members included: Mr. Cyril Cox (DataSafe Recovery
Services), Kevin Cumming (President, ATCO Midstream), George Fink (CEO,
Bonterra Energy Income Trust), Ross Freeman (Partner, Borden Ladner Gervais),
Paul Gagnon (President, Jolifou Petroleum), Tom Hewitt (President, Hewitt
Oil), Stephen Kapusta (CEO, Canext Energy), John Kingsbury (Principal, Gas
Processing Management), Keith Macdonald (Chairman, Drakkar Energy), Allan
MacPherson (President, Touchwood Petroleum), Stan Odut (CEO, Sifton Energy),
Dave Peterson (President, Dalpe Petroleum), William Sattlegger (VP, Degolyer &
MacNaughton), Jim Screaton (President, Camton Exploration), Ken Shewan
(President, Frontier Engineering), Kathryn Sloan (Manager, Boyd Petrosearch),
and David Wolf (President, Stone Petroleums).
The Small Explorers and Producers Association of Canada, with over 450
member companies, is the voice of the junior oil and gas sector, "Canada's Oil
