one of the top 75 employers in the Greater Toronto Area, in a special
supplement of the Toronto Star. The list, compiled by Mediacorp, reviewed
eight key areas in assessing eligibility; (1) physical workplace; (2) work
atmosphere; (3) health, financial and family benefits; (4) vacation and time
off; (5) employee communications; (6) performance management; (7) training and
skills development; and (8) community involvement.
In making their final selection, Mediacorp considered how each employer
compared to others in their industry and region. This year's list included
large and small employers from a range of industries, offering varying
benefits and working conditions. This is the first time for Siemens to be
listed in this elite group of organizations.
