Sidon International Resources applies for Saskatchewan coal permits

VANCOUVER, June 26 /CNW/ - SIDON INTERNATIONAL RE

SOURCES CORP. (SD - TSXV; SY7 - FWB) Sidon International Resources Corp. has submitted coal permit applications to the government of Saskatchewan's Energy Resources Permitting Office. The application encompasses 18,432 hectares (approximately 45,546 acres) in east-central Saskatchewan in the area of the recent Goldsource Mines Inc. coal discovery. The recent announcement of the discovery by Goldsource of coal in two drill holes, 1,600 metres apart, suggests the potential for a much larger coal system. Goldsource reports it believes the coal it encountered is from the Mannville/Swan River group of Cretaceous age. Coal structures of the Cretaceous age are reported to be generally very large and can encompass several thousand square kilometers. Sidon plans to aggressively stake further claims in this burgeoning prospective coal area of Saskatchewan. Sidon International Resources Corporation is a junior exploration company with interests in Nevada - North Dolly Varden Copper Gold Claims and White Pines Gold Claims, North West Territories - Slave Craton Diamond properties and British Columbia - Harrison Lake West Gold Silver Claims.
