SFK PULP postpones its annual general meeting

    LONGUEUIL, QC, June 4 /CNW Telbec/ - SFK Pulp announces that it has
postponed its Annual General Meeting of Unitholders (the "Meeting") to Monday,
June 29, 2009. The Meeting will be held at the Omni Mont-Royal Hotel, Salon
Pierre de Coubertin, 1050 Sherbrooke Street West, Montreal, Québec at 10:00
a.m. local time.
    An Amended Notice of Annual General Meeting has been filed on SEDAR
(www.sedar.com) and will be delivered to all unitholders of record as of May
14, 2009, as originally planned. The Information Circular previously delivered
in connection with the originally scheduled Meeting remains valid for the
purposes of the postponed Meeting.
    Unitholders are advised that if they have deposited a valid proxy in
connection with the originally scheduled meeting and they do not wish to
change their vote, no further action is required. Proxies may be deposited
with SFK Pulp's transfer agent up to 48 hours (excluding Saturdays, Sundays
and holidays in the Province of Québec) prior to the postponed Meeting in
accordance with the procedures set out in the Information Circular.

and recycled kraft pulp, operates three mills in Saint-Félicien, Québec,
Fairmont, West Virginia, and Menominee, Michigan. SFK Pulp employs

total annual production capacity of 745,000 metric tonnes. The Saint-Félicien
Mill supplies northern bleached softwood kraft (NBSK) pulp to various sectors

specialty products. The Fairmont and Menominee Mills manufacture air-dried
market recycled bleached kraft (RBK) pulp and primarily supply manufacturers
of uncoated freesheet, commercial and away-from-home tissue and coated paper
