New Office Offers Access To Government Programs, Services And Information
TWEED, ON, Jan. 24 /CNW/ - The Ontario government is making it easier for
people to access a wide range of provincial government services and
information by opening ServiceOntario - Tweed, Government and Consumer
Services Minister Ted McMeekin announced today.
"ServiceOntario - Tweed is an important reflection of our government's
commitment to rural Ontario," McMeekin said. "We're working hard to make sure
that the people of Ontario have fast, friendly and easy access to government
services in communities across this province.
ServiceOntario - Tweed is located at 255 Metcalf Street. It is open on
Mondays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Some of the services available at ServiceOntario-Tweed include:
- Fishing and hunting licences
- Big game draw applications
- Government publications
- Landlord/tenant dispute applications
- Employment standards applications
- General information and referral for all government programs
(including federal and municipal).

government services," McMeekin said. "We're delivering - and are committed to
providing nothing less than the best service experience possible for
