Sedgwick CMS Awarded Employer of Choice(R) Recertification

MEMPHIS, Tenn., June 8 /CNW/ -- Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc.
(Sedgwick CMS) announced today that it has been successfully recertified as an
Employer of Choice(R). The Employer of Choice designation is granted to
public, private or not-for-profit employers that demonstrate effective
implementation of best practices in attracting, developing and retaining
outstanding people. The certification is for two years rather than the
customary one year term. Sedgwick CMS has maintained uninterrupted standing
as an Employer of Choice since its initial certification in 2004.

"Retaining Employer of Choice certification for an extended period
requires not only outstanding evaluation results but also continuous
improvement," said Joyce L. Gioia, chief executive officer of Employer of
Choice, Inc. and co-author of How to Become an Employer of Choice. "Sedgwick
CMS has improved its standing in virtually every category used by our
independent panel to benchmark the health of employee/employer relationships
and workplace practices. It is particularly for their outstanding achievement
of sustained progress that we made the highly unusual decision to confer a
two-year certification upon Sedgwick CMS."

"The people of Sedgwick CMS are the real honorees in our Employer of
Choice designation," said David A. North, president and chief executive
officer of Sedgwick CMS. "They continue to embrace the opportunities we offer
for professional development, provide open feedback that strengthens our
services to clients and our internal culture, and demonstrate their commitment
to our Core Values. We remain the only risk and insurance services
organization to have been awarded national certification as an Employer of
Choice. It is my privilege once again to accept this award on behalf of my
colleagues."
