Sears Canada Announces Start of "Stronger Dollar - Lower Prices" Sears Days

TORONTO, Nov. 22 /CNW/ - Sears Canada Inc. (TSX: SCC) announced today
that it is launching a "Stronger Dollar - Lower Prices" promotion for
Canadians during the U.S. Thanksgiving weekend. Sears Days, one of the most
anticipated sales of the season, begins Friday, November 23rd, and, for the
first time, contains many items specially identified with the "Stronger Dollar
- Lower Prices" icon which represent the value Canadians are seeking with the
increased strength of the Canadian dollar.
"This weekend is an enormous kick-start to the Holiday shopping season at
Sears Canada," said Dene Rogers, President and Chief Executive Officer, Sears
Canada Inc. "Sears Days is always immensely popular with our customers, and
this year's Sears Days demonstrates to Canadians that Sears Canada is lowering
prices so they do not have to go to the U.S. for big-spend items such as
electronics. We believe that Canadians would rather shop at home which helps
the Canadian economy and makes Canada stronger."
The new Sears Days "Stronger Dollar - Lower Prices" promotion offers
customers items from across the store, from apparel to appliances and from
fragrances to furniture. Items include:
