HALIFAX, Feb. 13 /CNW/ - SEAMARK Asset Management Ltd. today announced
that Angela Eaton has been appointed Chief Investment Officer. Eaton
previously served as SEAMARK's Head of Equities and will retain those
responsibilities in her new role. She has over twenty years of industry

President & CEO. "Her appointment to CIO recognizes her strong leadership,
research discipline and investment insight."
Eaton takes over from Tom MacLaren, who will retire from SEAMARK in
August. MacLaren will work with Eaton over the next six months to ensure a
smooth transition of responsibilities.

new processes and rigour to drive the team's effectiveness," said Raftus.
"After almost 20 years at SEAMARK, we wish Tom and his family all the very

In other internal moves, Brent Barrie has assumed the Chief Operating
Officer title while Donald Wishart continues in his role as Chief Financial
Officer and a member of the Executive Portfolio team, and Richard Fewell has
taken on the responsibilities of Chief Portfolio Manager.
