EDMONTON, AB, Jan. 14 /CNW/ - Seair Inc. (SDS:TSX Venture Exchange) is
pleased to announce the sale of a Seair 400i diffusion system to be installed
in a new lift station being constructed in the city of Airdrie, Alberta. The
Seair system will be used to dissolve oxygen gas that will in turn reduce
odor, hydrogen sulphide (H2S) levels and keep sewage influent aerobic as it is
carried via a forcemain from Airdrie to the city of Calgary's wastewater sewer
system. The aerobic state is maintained by virtue of the high dissolved oxygen
levels achieved with Seair's patented diffusion technologies.
Harold Kinasewich, President and CEO of Seair states "the Airdrie project
is just one of many ways that Seair technology can be used to improve existing
wastewater processing facilities. Maintaining an aerobic state reduces
treatment needed when sewage enters the Calgary system, which in turn allows
that system to handle greater volumes without infrastructure changes."
