SAT-GE Announces New Executive Team

SINGAPORE, June 19 /CNW/ - SAT-GE (NYSE: GE), the newly announced
satellite operator in the Pacific region, has today completed the appointment
of its leadership team. Drawing on key executives from the industry across the
globe, SAT-GE will be managed by corporate executives from its holding group,
GE International Holdings Inc.

    SAT-GE's Management Team:

    Paul Heinerscheid, President & CEO

Andrew Jordan, General Manager and VP Sales

David Crenshaw, VP Sales North America

Andy Frost, VP Marketing & Business Development

Ronny Svang, VP Finance & CFO

Jim Lynch, VP & General Counsel

Operations will be managed from Singapore and Sydney by Andrew Jordan,
who joins SAT-GE after 5 years with Loft Communications, where he was founder
and Managing Director. Andrew has over 16 years experience in the satellite
industry and has held senior executive management positions in AsiaSat,
PanAmSat and Measat.

"GE-23 is a unique asset for SAT-GE, ideally positioned between North
America and East Asia. It can be used to deliver content and services in and
around the Pacific basin. With the forthcoming Olympics in China it is the
ideal platform on which to transport video coverage of this important event in
Asia" said Andrew Jordan, General Manager and VP Sales, "I am really looking
forward to the challenge of making SAT-GE a success and delivering strong
growth for the business".

Andrew will be supported by David Crenshaw who has responsibility for
sales in North America. David brings over 20 years of industry experience to
the job having held previous senior and executive appointments in sales and
business development for companies such as Intelsat, Spacenet, iBeam
Broadcasting and Compression Labs.

Certain members of the team also have executive responsibilities in the
management of Satlynx, the satellite managed services provider, based in
Luxembourg and another business within GE International Holdings Inc. Satlynx
offers corporate networking, wholesale broadband and managed services across
the globe and is a customer of SAT-GE for satellite capacity over the Pacific
region.

"Although there is commonality between Satlynx and SAT-GE, we are running
them as separate businesses," said Paul Heinerscheid, President & CEO, SAT-GE.
"For cost efficiency reasons it makes sense to subcontract organisational and
support functions to Satlynx where we have a fully functional and
self-contained business. Operationally, SAT-GE and Satlynx are very different
and sales and accounting separation will be maintained between the
businesses".

SAT-GE has offices in both Singapore and North America (Washington DC)
and employs a team of talented professionals with substantial experience in
the industry.

manufactured by Alcatel Space, a series 4100 spacecraft, with a minimum useful
life of 15 years. Launched on 29 December 2005, GE-23 delivers internet
