Salon national de l'environnement - The Fédération des producteurs de porcs du Québec goes green

LONGUEUIL, QC, June 15 /CNW Telbec/ - For the second year in a row, the
Fédération des producteurs de porcs du Québec (FPPQ), will be participating in
the 4th annual Salon national de l'environnement (SNE) from June 19th through
21st, 2009, at place des Vestiges on the Quays of the Old Port in Montréal.
This large, national scale event is open to the general public and
devoted entirely to the environment. By participating, the FPPQ hopes to
increase public awareness of the steps taken by producers towards protecting
the environment.
To demonstrate their good practices, a new and fully interactive stand
will be used for the first time. Several producers will be on site to answer
visitors' questions. "Our new stand is an interactive, sensory and informative
experience on the issues and realities of the pork industry in Québec," said
FPPQ president Jean-Guy Vincent. "Participating in the Salon national de
l'environnement allows us the privilege of sharing our best agro-environmental
practices with the public in person."
Over 40 000 people are expected at the SNE this year. We'll be expecting
you!
