Rogers MusicStore Presents MTV's The Leak Live: Five-City Tour Kicks Off September 22 in Toronto

    TORONTO, Sept. 19 /CNW/ - MTV and Rogers Wireless have partnered up to
bring fans the Rogers MusicStore Presents MTV's The Leak Live national concert
tour. The tour brings MTV's "The Leak" alive - allowing fans across the
country to check out hot Canadian band Mobile as they rock-out at five college
and university campuses across the country. Fans get the chance to hear Mobile
play songs from their latest album - Tales from the City - weeks before it
hits the streets on Oct. 7. In addition to seeing the band on tour, fans can
listen to the album on mtv.ca and on the go with Rogers Wireless phones.

want it, and before anyone else can give it to them," said Brad Schwartz,

partnership with Rogers Wireless, we continue to reach our fans across
multiple platforms, giving them an all-access pass to the hottest music before
it hits the streets; online, on their phone and live in concert."
    Kicking off the tour on September 22 at MTV's Concert Hall in the
legendary Masonic Temple in Toronto, Mobile is joined by opening act The
Midway State. This marks the Canadian debut of Mobile's sophomore album before

    MTV Live and MTV News join the tour to catch all the action at every
stop, with live coverage and behind-the-scenes peeks from each event. Fans can
engage in the tour across MTV platforms including: MTV and mtv.ca/leaklive, as
well as an exclusive interactive experience on most Rogers Wireless phones.
Rogers Wireless customers can text LEAK to 4849 for exclusive access to the
"Leak Hub" including tour dates, video blogging from the band, music videos,
live performance coverage, ring tones, and mobile alerts for all MTV updates
on the tour. Beginning September 30, fans who miss Mobile live in concert can
still hear the entire new album one week before its release by visiting
mtv.ca/leaklive and on the go with their Rogers Vision phone.
    Rogers MusicStore Presents MTV's The Leak Live is supported on the
channel and mtv.ca via MTV produced, co-branded, 30-second spots and a full
microsite complete with dozens of extras to provide fans and viewers with a
total experience.
