Robex - Drilling at depth confirms continuity and grade increase on Nampala

    MONTREAL, Dec. 12 /CNW Telbec/ - Resources Robex Inc (TSX-V: RBX)
announces the analytical results for the 3 holes (total of 916m) drilled in
November on the Nampala gold prospect, South Mali, where a 43-101 resource
calculation defined an inferred resource of 760,000oz @ 0.9 g/t Au last June.
The results confirm the continuity of mineralization at depth as well as an
increase in the grades. In all three holes, several intersections show
consistent grades occasionally exceeding 2g/t over approximately twenty
metres.
The last 15 metres in the deepest drill hole (No.680), totalling
506 metres, have revealed an average grade of 2.01 g/t Au. The second hole
(No.681) shows grades typical of the ones found in the deposit. The third hole
(No.682), implanted in a gold digging area, returned an average grade of
1.0 g/t over 81.0m, that is, on nearly its entire length. (See table).

The following conclusions may be drawn from this program:

    - Mineralization in the Nampala deposit is deep-rooted in the ground and
is not the result of superficial enrichment.

    - Mineralization is associated with the setting of the lamprophyre
massive intrusive with the injection of mineralized fluids (silica-
carbonate-sulphides-gold) in the sediments and a subsequent alteration
(sericite, chlorite and silica) that appears to be more predominant at
depth. The lamprophyre itself is occasionally altered and mineralized
at depth. With mineralization continuity at depth, the deposit shows
potential for an increase in the gold resource.

    - Interesting perspectives are opening in the exploration of the Nampala
deposit and on the entire Mininko property. For example the gold-
bearing N'Golola anomaly located south of Nampala shows a similar
      geological context.

Core Drilling: The holes were all drilled towards the east at -50 deg.
They are located 50m north of section 1 234 200N, from west to east and spaced
150m (No.681) and 290m (No.682). Deviation tests were performed. Deviation was
insignificant.

Sampling: The cores were split in two; one half was kept and the other was
analysed in 1.0m to 1.5m segments. The samples were sent to the Abilab
Laboratory in Bamako for fire assay. Detection threshold was established at
5 PPB. 10% ''blanks and standards'' were added at random.

    NRC680 :
    --------

DDH680, was the deepest hole, at 506 metres. It intersected all the
mineralized lithologies, from massive lamprophyre interspersed with tonalite,
to sediments located towards the east. In several areas, the fresh lamprophyre
was not analysed because it did not show alteration or mineralization. The
altered tonalite shows sub-horizontal quartz veinlets accompanied with
sulphides (pyrite and arsenopyrite) and gold mineralization. The tonalite -
lamprophyre contact is sharp, as is the one with the graywacke, which is often
altered and mineralized.
Surprisingly, the 2 lamprophyre bodies identified on surface unite at
depth. The grades are consistent and higher in the graywacke at depth (between
460 and 480m), which confirms both continuity and deep rooting of the deposit.
A few additional metres will be sent to the lab to define the two zones.

    NRC681
    ------

The second hole, 325m in length, was stopped in sterile massive
lamprophyre. It highlights large mineralized intersections similar in size to
those in the deposit in mineralized tonalite.

    NRC682
    ------

Drilling begun in overburden (clay-saprolite) above the lamprophyre. It is
an intense gold digging area and several cavities were intersected in the
first 20 metres. Significant grades associated with interesting mineralized
zones begin at only 15m in coarse sediments and continue to the end of the
hole (85.7m). Drilling was interrupted prematurely because the drillrods
jammed in the hole.

With an inferred resource of 760 000oz of gold in the top 100 metres or
so of depth, and this drilling evidence of continuity and grade increase of
gold mineralization to substantial depth, the Nampala deposit is more than
ever a crucial asset for Robex. The Nampala deposit has caught the attention
of mining companies and is currently under evaluation by prospective partners.

Robex Resources is active in gold exploration in Mali. Its growth lies in
the quality of its team, of its projects and on management's goal to create
value for its shareholders. The TSX Venture Exchange does not accept

Release and the within disclosures have been reviewed by Jean Demers, P.Geo
