"The Expansion of a Quebec Mutual Insurance Company across Canada"
Monday, November 3, 2008
Noon - 2 p.m. (speech at 1:00 p.m.)
Saint James Club of Montreal
1145 Union Avenue, Montréal
MONTREAL, Oct. 30 /CNW Telbec/ - Robert St-Denis has held the position of
President and Chief Operating Officer of La Capitale Financial Group since May
2007. He is responsible for managing the Group's operating activities and
coordinating acquisitions, mergers and investments. His responsibility also
extends to overseeing La Capitale's Life and Health Insurance operations, a
role he has fulfilled since joining La Capitale in January 2004.
Mr. St-Denis will explain to guests of the Canadian Club why a
Quebec-based mutual company needs to extend its activities beyond provincial
borders. In today's world of financial giants, La Capitale Financial Group
develops choice partnerships and makes targeted acquisitions that allow it to
build, protect and value the heritage of its clients and Mutual members while
maintaining an enviable position in an extremely competitive sector. In a
first phase, La Capitale Financial Group adopts an optimal cost amortization
strategy and in a second phase turns its attention to risk diversification.
The Mutual's expansion outside Quebec's borders is a strategic choice for
the group in the context of the current demographic outlook in the province.
We hope that you will join us for this fascinating luncheon.
