KIRKLAND LAKE, ON, June 17 /CNW/ - RJK Explorations Ltd (RJX.A TSXV)
("RJK") announces the results of its annual and special shareholders meeting
held in Kirkland Lake, Ontario on June 16, 2008.
At the meeting, the shareholders of the corporation approved all
resolutions put before them by management, including the election of
directors, the appointment and remuneration of the auditor, and the adoption
of the company's 2008 stock option incentive plan.
The returning board members re-elected are Dr. James Franklin,
Jim Kermeen, Barry Milne, and Glenn Kasner. The company further advises that
Dan Mackie, P.Eng has been elected to the board replacing Robert (Bob) Kasner,
Sr. who did not let his name stand for re-election due to commitments with
other companies and projects that he is currently involved with. We wish to

Other results of the meeting include the reappointment of the company's
auditor, namely Parker Simone LLP and the approval of the corporation's 2008
stock option incentive plan. The 2008 plan was approved by the corporation's
shareholders at the annual meeting.
The details in respect of the 2008 plan are summarized in the company's
management information circular pertaining to the meeting which is available
for public review on SEDAR. The 2008 plan is also subject to the receipt of
all the required regulatory approvals.

About Mr. Mackie:
A mechanical engineering graduate from McGill University, Mr. Mackie has
more than forty years experience in the mining industry, with a growth path
through Bechtel Engineers, SNC, KHD Humboldt Wedag, and Hudson Bay Mining and
Smelting Company. In working for these companies, he developed a reputation
for excellence in plant design and project management, culminating his
corporate career as Chief Engineer of HBM&S, reporting to the president.
In his later years, he developed a consulting business, Dan Mackie &
Associates, where he continued to advise, design, and manage a variety of
projects, many of which involved minerals processing of precious metals,
diamonds, base metals and industrial minerals. He authored a textbook on
Project Management, which is used in a course today, sponsored by the Canadian
Institute of Mining and Metallurgy through Infomine in Vancouver. Most
significant in his management activities was his contract to Bechtel Chile as
Project Manager of the pre-feasibility development and design for the
$1.7 billion Collahuasi Project, which is operating today with the original
concepts put forward in 1993. Recently, he concluded contracts for INCO in
development of R & D projects for Voisey's Bay tailings treatment and the
Clarabelle Mill Grinding Circuit.
Further to Mr. Mackie's position with the company, he has been granted,
subject to regulatory approval, 100,000 stock options exercisable over a
5 year term at a price of $0.20
