Ritchie Bros. to conduct Grand Opening auction at new agricultural auction site in London, Ontario



    LONDON, ON, June 2 /CNW/ - On June 24, 2009, Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers
(NYSE and TSX: RBA) will celebrate the official Grand Opening of its new
permanent auction site in London, Ontario with a one-day unreserved public
auction and pre-auction breakfast. Registered bidders and local dignitaries
will join Ritchie Bros. representatives for breakfast at the auction site on
June 24. At 8:45 a.m., Mayor Jim Maudsley of the Municipality of Thames Centre
will cut the Grand Opening ribbon to officially open the new site. The
unreserved public auction commences at 9 a.m. A large selection of good
quality, used agricultural equipment and tractors will be sold on auction day,
with no minimum bids or reserve prices. Ritchie Bros. (www.rbauction.com), the
world's largest auctioneer of industrial and agricultural equipment, was
established in B.C. in 1958. The Company now has 38 auction sites around the
world, including a site in Toronto, Ontario.

    Among the equipment being sold in the June 24 Grand Opening auction:
MFWD, 2WD and 4WD tractors, combines, seeding and spraying equipment, headers,
balers and more. Equipment is still being added to the auction. Interested

options.
    Like every Ritchie Bros. auction, the London Grand Opening auction will
be strictly unreserved, with no minimum bids or reserve prices; every item
will be sold to the highest bidder on auction day. The auction is open to the
public; registration to bid is free. Interested buyers can bid in person,
