TORONTO, June 12 /CNW/ - (RMD: TSXV) Richmond Minerals is please to
provide an update on its 100% owned Triple Lake Exploration Project, located
30 km south of Timmins, Ontario.
Complete assay results have been received for the first two holes of the
Triple Lake property diamond drill program. Hole RMD-02 intersected a mafic
dyke that assayed 254.1 grams per tonne silver over a 0.31-meter interval
(91.34 to 91.6 metres down-hole). A second zone within RMD-02 intersected a
mineralized gabbro that assayed 1.41% copper, 9.3 grams per tonne silver, and
1,110 grams per tonne zinc over a 1.22-meter interval. This higher-grade zone
is found within a wider interval that assayed 0.78% copper over 2.42 meters
(14.53 to 16.95 meters down-hole).
Anomalous values for gold, copper and zinc were detected within several
sections in Hole RMD-01.
Assay results for the remaining Triple Lake drill holes (approximately
220 samples) are still outstanding and are expected in three to four weeks.
