Richfield provides update on summer exploration work

QUESNEL, BC, Sept. 11 /CNW/ - Peter Bernier, President and CEO of
Richfield Ventures Corp. (TSX-V:RVC), is pleased to provide an update on
recent work on the Quesnel Trough Project and Morris Mine property, both
located in British Columbia, Canada.

    Quesnel Trough Project

Richfield's Quesnel Trough Project consists of a large land package of
over 200,000 acres located east of the city of Quesnel. During the summer,
Richfield's geological team has been analyzing and reviewing data from recent
drilling, soil geochemistry and airborne geophysical surveys in order to
delineate additional drill targets. The team is also analyzing data recently
released as part of the Geoscience BC Quest project, which includes airborne
electromagnetic and gravity survey results which cover the full area of the
Quesnel Trough Project.

    Mouse Mountain
    --------------

Within the Quesnel Trough Project, Mouse Mountain remains Richfield's
priority target. The project is centrally located within Canada's largest and
most productive copper-gold porphyry belt. Several industry professionals have
visited the Mouse Mountain site during the summer to examine drill core and
outcrops and have shared thoughts about the project. Richfield is now focusing
on the High-grade Zone to the south in an effort to identify the core of the
mineralized system and outline additional drill targets.

    G-South
    -------
The G-South prospect is located 30 km north of Mouse Mountain and differs
in that it is a pure gold target within the Quesnel Trough Project. Currently
the Company is awaiting precious metals assays from four drill holes totaling
approximately 2000 meters drilled in early summer.

    Moustique
    ---------

The Moustique target is also located within the Quesnel trough Project.
It is a large molybdenum soil anomaly which was percussion drilled over the
summer. Four holes totaling approximately 400 feet were drilled through the
overburden to reach bedrock. Only one of the hole was successful in reaching
bedrock but the source for the in soil anomaly was not identified.

    Morris Mine Property

Richfield completed initial exploration of the Morris Mine property to
delineate targets. A soil geochemical grid was completed. Soil samples were
analyzed by portable XRF and samples with high arsenic and or antimony have
been sent to the laboratory for gold fire assay.

    Additional Property Evaluations

Richfield's management and geological team continue to evaluate
properties to add to their mineral tenure portfolio.
