TORONTO, Oct. 26 /CNW/ - Revlon's iconic red lipstick and Mazda's popular
Miata sports car join together in Revlon's Hot Summer Contest, with three
lucky winners driving home Mazda MX-5 Miatas. On September 8, 2007, the three
first prize winners were drawn; and in October winners were awarded their new
Miata convertibles, with automatic transmission, air-conditioning and other
features. "We wanted to partner with products and brands that were consistent
with the Revlon position: sexy, confident and glamorous," said Frances Lukban,
Brand Manager for Brand Revlon. The Mazda Miata topped a short list of cars

The contest, which ran from June 1st through August 31st, were promoted
through in-store displays, with product and contest information available.
Promotional hot spots had event-specific merchandising and contest brochures.
The contest was also featured in the first issue of Revlon's in-house
magazine, Revlon Unforgettable(TM), as well as in mass market women's
magazines. It was promoted on-line on popular women's sites. Another
promotional effort featured a team of Revlon representatives who distributed
information at major summer events and locations, including Toronto's Queen
Street shopping district, Montreal's Old Town and the Vancouver Jazz Festival.
Contestants entered the draw through the purchase of a Revlon product. Second
prizes are 2000 canvas tote bags with Revlon product.
"The contest has surpassed expectations," noted Lukban, "with over ten
thousand entries submitted during the first month alone".
