Results of the UTU vote on tentative agreement with CN DELAYED until after 10:00 p.m. EDT

TORONTO, April 10 /CNW/ - The 2,800 members of the United Transportation
Union - Canada have been engaged in a legal strike against CN Rail since
February 10, 2007 although strike action - picketing - has been suspended
during the ratification vote period, from February 24, 2007 to April 10, 2007.
The results of the membership ratification vote will not be available
until after 10:00 p.m. EDT. The delay is the result of two factors - heavy
turnout and just five scrutineers to oversee the count.
Results will be posted at http://www.utu-canada.com as soon as they
become available.
