International bragging rights, celebrity prestige, and $13,000 in
cash prizing on the line at premier RPS event
TORONTO, Oct. 24 /CNW/ - Forget Caesars Palace boxing - Tomorrow night's
title fight is in Toronto as more than 450 competitors from across the country
and around the world battle it out to see who will become the new RPS world
The ultimate fringe sport takes centre stage at The 2008 Yahoo! Rock
Paper Scissors World Championships and will feature a new crop of RPS
enthusiasts, 'walk-ons,' and international country champions and competitors
from as far away as Australia, New Zealand, Norway, and Argentina.
Last year's champion - Andrea Farina of Syracuse, New York - returns to
defend her title in a spirited night of sporting subculture competition
featuring outrageous costumes, team jerseys, face paint, and a Street RPS

trash talking and fierce side betting with RPS dollars.
