REMINDER - Media alert - Release of 2009 Report Card on Wait Times in Canada followed by CMA President Speech at the Montreal Economic Institute

OTTAWA, June 17 /CNW Telbec/ - On June 18, the Wait Time Alliance (WTA)
will release its 4th Report Card, a document that provides important
information on waits experienced by patients needing medical services not
included in the 5 areas listed as priorities in the 2004 First Ministers
Agreement. Details on the report card will be released during a technical
briefing via teleconference with the media at 10:00 am. This report card
includes data on total wait times for a broader range of services including
six additional specialties.
Key findings of the Report Card will also be highlighted by Canadian
Medical Association President, Dr. Robert Ouellet, in his address to the
Montreal Economic Institute at a luncheon speaking engagement in Montreal on

the world.
