Reminder - Media advisory: Canadian Paralympic Committee to announce the 2008 Canadian Paralympic team in Vancouver July 8th

    WHAT: The Canadian Paralympic Committee will unveil the Canadian Team
    heading to the Beijing Paralympic Games, running September 6-17, 2008, in
    China. Paralympic team members Shauna Maria Whyte, a 2010 skiing hopeful
    who makes her debut in the summer sport of handcycling, and national
    wheelchair basketball veteran Richard Peter, will speak.

    All other Paralympic athletes present will answer questions from the
    floor, and be available for one-on-one interviews.

    WHEN:  10:00am Tuesday, July 8, 2008

    WHERE: Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Chinese Gardens (Hall of One Hundred Rivers),
           578 Carrall St., Vancouver, BC Media can enter the Hall through
           the double-door entrance off Carall Street.
