MONTREAL, March 5 /CNW Telbec/ - The Federation of Canadian
Municipalities (FCM) and its Big City Mayors' Caucus will release their
proposed national transit strategy today.
Montreal Mayor Gérald Tremblay, Toronto Mayor David Miller, and Edmonton
Councillor Karen Liebovici of Edmonton, a member of FCM's Executive Committee,
will brief news media at a news conference in Montreal from 10:30 to 11:00
a.m. (all times Eastern)
Cities across the country will also release the plan, including: Surrey,
B.C.; Calgary, Alta.; Edmonton, Alta.; Regina, Sask.; Windsor, Ont.; London,
Ont.; Kitchener, Ont.; Hamilton, Ont.; Ottawa, Ont.; Halifax, N.S.
