"We are very pleased that R&D Capital is serving a growing number of
companies from highly diversified fields of business. This growth shows that
the solutions offered by R&D Capital are flexible and capable of meeting a
wide spectrum of tax credit financing needs. Our goal is to be able to
contribute to the success of our clients' projects, especially with respect to
R&D and innovation, by providing them with quick and simple access to their
capital," said Pierre Binette, President of R&D Capital.
New tax credit financing for the forestry sector
R&D Capital finances several types of tax credits, such as those granted
for Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) as well as those
available in the mining and multimedia sectors.
In addition, R&D Capital has now just extended its offering by
introducing a new forestry tax credit financing program. This program is
offered to companies which invest in road construction in forest areas on
government land, and are eligible for tax credits granted by the Quebec
Government. As is the case for other kinds of tax credits, R&D Capital can
provide forestry tax credit financing for up to 75% of the amount to be
granted by the government.
"Like our other clients, companies in the forestry sector will discover
that R&D Capital is a first-rate business partner, capable of responding to
their needs for capital very rapidly, in a straightforward and professional
manner. We are meeting the expectations of a market that has been, until now,
poorly served in terms of financing. It is also a market that holds little or
no interest for traditional financing institutions," added Mr. Binette.
About R&D Capital
R&D Capital was founded in 2004. In just a few years, it has become a
leader in the short term financing of tax credits, particularly in the
scientific research and experimental development (SR&ED), multimedia, mining
and forestry sectors. The company's work methodology allowed it, in 2006, to
be recognized as a "Financial Institution" by the income tax law of the Canada
Revenue Agency and Revenu Quebec.
A pioneer of interim short term financing of tax credits, R&D Capital
concentrates most of its work in the financing of past and current short term
tax credits through a simple, rapid and professional approach.
