TORONTO, June 13 /CNW/ - RBC employees in the Greater Toronto Area will
help build stronger communities June 18-24 by joining forces to build a home

Hospital, and volunteering at four Toronto area community after-school program
locations.
"Putting Communities FIRST is a week-long celebration of RBC's commitment
to the communities in which our employees live and work," said Jennifer Tory,
RBC Regional President, Greater Toronto Region.
The volunteer efforts of RBC branch and commercial banking employees,
combined with community donations by the RBC Foundation, will mean almost

GTA will invite the public to celebrate their grand opening with free

"RBC is proud to be part of the community all year, and this week, we
will be thanking everyone in the community for the work they do to make it a
better place to live. Putting Communities FIRST is a way we can show our
commitment to our clients, our neighbourhoods, and our employees," said Tory.
Almost 5,000 RBC branch and commercial banking employees in the GTA will
each receive a $20 gift card to donate to the charity of their choice using
the on-line charity portal www.canadahelps.org
"It's our way of saying thank you to our employees and help them
contribute to stronger neighbourhoods." Tory noted.
RBC is proud to support hundreds of community organizations in the GTA.
