LAVAL, QC, Feb. 14 /CNW/ - The management of Stellar Pacific Ventures
Inc. is pleased to announce that Mr. Raymond Bérubé has been named a member of
the company's board of directors.
Mr. Bérubé is a lawyer by profession, and a labour relations consultant
in the Quebec City area. He holds a law degree from Laval University, where he
is currently completing his Master's. Mr. Bérubé was called to the Quebec bar
in 1982, and has been a member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources
humaines et en relation industrielles agréés du Québec since 1981.
Most of Mr. Bérubé's practice deals with labour relations and labour law.
He lectured at Laval University's Faculty of Law for 12 years, and is founder
and senior partner in the Quebec City-based firm Reinhardt, Bérubé Avocats.
Mr. Bérubé's membership on the board will be a significant asset for the
company, in particular with respect to the implementation of its corporate
development strategy. He will also chair the company's audit committee.
On February 13, 2008, the company's board of directors agreed to offer
Mr. Bérubé 150,000 stock options, under the company's option plan, at an
exercise price of $0.15, valid for a period of five years.
The company is also announcing the resignation of Mr. Bertrand Dufour
from the board and the audit committee. Stellar's management would like to
thank Mr. Dufour for his involvement with the company, and wishes him the
greatest success in his career.
