    CALGARY and SALT LAKE CITY, Oct. 22 /CNW/ - Rare Method Interactive Corp.
("Rare Method") (TSX Venture Exchange, Tier 1 listed under symbol RAM), today
announced it has appointed Tom Short to the position of President, effective
October 18, 2007. Mr. Short has been a key member of the management team,
serving as Vice President and as a member of the Board of Directors over the
last 4 years. Mr. Short has 20 years of experience in branding, traditional
and digital marketing solutions, joining Rare Method in 2003 when Rare Method
acquired his former agency, iDEA MACHiNE, an early leader in interactive
marketing.

    Additional appointments to the management team include James Waddock as
Chief Operating Officer and Nick Noronha as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to
joining Rare Method in 2006 in a Senior Strategy role, Mr. Waddock accumulated
15 years of experience in business development and product marketing and has
held senior positions at Telus Corporation, Tefina Technologies, and Webcore
Labs. Before accepting the Controller position at Rare Method in late 2006,
Mr. Noronha, a Chartered Accountant, gained nearly 10 years of experience in
accounting and finance, holding a Senior Associate position with Hudson and
Company LLP and the Assistant Controller position at Pulse Data Inc.
    Eric White will lead the U.S. team as Executive Vice President and
General Manager of the Salt Lake City Office. Joining him in the day-to-day
management of the U.S. operations will be David Blain, Executive Vice
President, Business Development and Jeff Olsen who will assume the role of
Chief Creative Officer for Rare Method. With a combined experience of over 50
years, working with some of the largest traditional agencies in the world on
Fortune 500 brands, the Salt Lake City team brings valuable insights and
experience for the continued growth of Rare Method as a top tier agency.
