TORONTO, March 10 /CNW/ - Parents looking to keep their kids busy during
March Break can turn to the Toronto Raptors and Toronto Marlies for some great
ideas. Starting Saturday, March 10, the Raptors and Marlies will host a number
of initiatives that will be fun for kids, while taking the stress out of March
Break for parents.
- Basketball fans have an opportunity to watch some of the best Ontario
basketball players between the ages of 11 to 13 years on Saturday,
March 10, 2007 at the Jr. NBA/Jr. WNBA Gatorade Championship Series at
the University of Toronto Athletic Centre between 3 to 8 p.m. Raptors
All-Star Chris Bosh will be on-site between 6 and 8 p.m. to meet
players, provide coaching tips and present winning team awards. As
part of NBA Cares, Jr. NBA/Jr. WNBA aims to develop a lifelong passion

- The Raptors host Nickelodeon(TM) Family Fun Day on Sunday, March 11
during their game against the Seattle SuperSonics. Nickelodeon(TM)
costume characters will greet fans on the 100 and 300 level concourses
between 12:45 to 1:15 p.m. Nickelodeon(TM) Family Fun Day packages
include four tickets to a game and a free Nickelodeon(TM) Pocket Watch
for all children in attendance. Special VIP packages are also
available that include an exclusive pre-game meet and greet with the

- The Raptors also host the New York Knicks on Wednesday, March 14 and
the Houston Rockets on Friday, March 16. Both games start at 7 p.m.

The Marlies will have a busy March Break hosting five home games coupled
with many special events. The Marlies give fans an opportunity to see the
Leafs of the Tomorrow at Ricoh Coliseum.
- On Saturday, March 10 and Sunday, March 11, the Marlies will host
back-to-back games against the team's provincial rivals the Hamilton
Bull Dogs. The first 5,000 fans to Saturday's game receive a Brad Leeb
Woobler doll. The Marlies will go pink in support of breast cancer
research during Sunday's game with a portion of ticket proceeds
donated to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
- During the week, the Marlies host the Binghamton Senators on
Wednesday, March 14 and the Houston Aeros on Friday, March 16. Both
games start at 7:30 p.m.
- The Rochester Americans visit the Marlies on Saturday, March 17, which
is also Mascot Night. Fans in attendance can meet and have their photo
taken with more than 15 mascots from the American Hockey League,
Ontario Hockey League and NHL including the Marlies' Duke the Dog and
Leafs' Carlton the Bear.
- Parents can take advantage of turning a weekend Marlies game into a
fun family event with the Marlies Family 4 Pack. With prices starting
