The Corporation continues to achieve significant increases, with reported
third quarter revenue of $1,262,505, representing a 43% increase over the
Corporation's revenues of $885,733 for the third quarter of 2006. The
Corporation also reported a loss, net of non-cash expenditures, of $72,515,
compared to a larger third quarter 2006 loss, net of non-cash expenditures, of
$116,341.
The third quarter of 2007 had total gross margins of $363,573
representing a rate of 29.6% compared to $295,425 or 33.3% for the third
quarter of 2006. The decrease in the gross margin is directly attributable to
the continued strong mobile equipment sales that provide for lower margins
experienced for the second straight quarter.
The Corporation's improved third quarter 2007 financial results are a
combination of increased revenues in both satellite divisions. The RAMTelecom
Linkstar(R) service sales continue to grow in Western Canada in the oil and
gas and mining sectors. In October 2007, the Corporation announced a new
contract with ShopCast TV to provide satellite services to 60 Walmart (Canada)
stores in support of advertising file delivery for internal broadcast over the
in-store television network. As of November 15, 2007, 30 site installations
had been completed. A technology review will be completed by early January
2008, to determine the feasibility of further satellite utilization.
